Dog Friendly Denver is excited to announce our first event! On Saturday, August 15, single people and their pooches will converge on the dog park at 29th & Franklin, at 2pm for a great time! Event will run from 2pm until around sunset? Everyone is encouraged to bring lots of water (for peeps and their dogs), coolers (as there are bbq grills around the park) and beverages. Since we are not sure about the legality of adult beverages on the premises, please keep it under wraps (in a non-glass container or if youâre ghetto, a brown paper bag should do!) We are really looking forward to getting to know all the fun, hip singles in Denver and their fabulous canines. Here is a little more info on the park itself:
The Fuller Park dogpark is very well supported by both the city and the neighborhood. Itâs about 1 acre in size, and children must be over 12 to be in the dog enclosure. Small dogs and large dogs all play together happily. Evenings and weekends are very busy, while itâs quieter during the day.
The double gate entrance area helps keep dogs from getting loose, and offers a chance for the dogs to sniff each other before the second gate opens.
The only downside to the park is that there is no water fountain in the dog area, so bring your own water, and bring extra poop bags to help keep the containers full.
The Denver Dog Offleash hotline is (303) 964-1006 if you have any questions, or if you are looking for the other Denver offleash sites.
