Dog Friendly Spots

Pickles Beachside Grill in Seaside, FL is a great little bar and grill located just across from the town square in the heart of Seaside.  Pickles has an awesome menu including hotdogs, signature sandwiches, seafood, snacks, breakfast, draught beer, tropical beverages, and their famous fried pickles.  There is definitely something for everyone and every craving on this menu!  The staff is super-friendly, the food is delicious and like most places in Seaside, it’s dog-friendly!

 

We first ate at Pickles with our border terrier, Finlay, about 4 years ago.  We loved how dog-friendly Seaside was and while we were staying a little further down 30A, we visited Seaside many times on that trip so we could bring Finlay with us.  I think Pickles may have been the very first establishment where we got to eat with Finlay!  Pickles has two seating areas:  street-side seating to the left and seating under the magnolias to the right of the restaurant.  We feel more comfortable sitting with the dogs under the magnolias, but we did see a cute long-haired dachshund sitting in the street side section with his family on our most recent trip.  As always, just ask the restaurant what they feel is appropriate.  Every city, county, township, etc…has their own regulations and we wouldn’t want to get anyone in trouble!

Pickles is a wonderful, relaxing place to grab a small bite or a meal and considering the prices in Seaside, Pickles is a reasonable choice.  Of course we love the fact that we can enjoy the delicious food at Pickles with our dogs in tow!

Los Rancheros Mexican Restaurant is already very popular among Dunwoody residents and I’m seeing more and more 4 legged friends dining outside when I’m there! If you request seating on the sidewalk, you may bring your well-behaved pooch and the gracious staff will even bring water for your furry friend should you need it. Make sure your dog is also comfortable with children as this is a very family-friendly place and lots of kids will want to pet your cute pooch!

Los Rancheros has been in Dunwoody for a number of years and they have great, standard Mexican fare and friendly staff. They have really tasty margaritas and on the weekends, you can often hear live music in the bar.

I love their burritos and on this visit with my family, tried something new, the Quesadilla Oliva which consists of chicken, cheese and spinach. Yum! Of course you have to have an order of queso to go along with your chips and salsa!
