Hotel for Dogs

There are dog friendly hotels, and then there are DOG FRIENDLY hotels.

Take the W Hotel in Chicago.  Yes, there’s a $ 100 cleaning fee per stay to make sure the room is in pristine condition for the next guest, but consider the hospitality bestowed on your beloved canine travel buddy.

After receiving a welcome package to the hotel’s PAWS program, your dog arrives in your luxurious room only to discover he has some fancy dog dishes, a selection of new dog toys and a comfy dog bed waiting for him.  Need some pampering?  The hotel has a salon for you and a grooming service for your dog.

Exercise is recommended when you’re traveling.  You can hit the gym while your dog is taken for a walk to see and experience the Windy City on four paws.  When you’re ready for a night on the town, if you’re nervous about your puppy getting into the hotel mini-bar and swinging from the curtains, a dog sitter is only a phone call away.

And finally, when it’s time for sweet dreams, you guessed it — Before your Border Collie counts those sheep, the hotel provides him with turndown service and a bedtime snack.

By having your dogs and the dogs of your students pass the Canine Good Citizen test, you’ll do your part to ensure that dogs are always welcome in hotels and other public places.
